Education Week: ‘In These States, You Can Now See How Much Districts Spent on Each School’
But, don’t look for Kentucky in this listing
One of the features of the revised Every Student Succeeds Act is states and local school systems have to get more transparent about what is actually being spent in each school.
And, Education Week reports that 12 states are already complying.
Kentucky isn’t among them.
With some folks in Frankfort going on and on about how the state is supposedly spending less on education, it makes one wonder how these folks can be so sure when we don’t even know how much we actually spend in each school.
