Fulton County ignores union threats, Frankfort's political squabbles and passes right-to-work

The Fulton County Fiscal Court on Dec. 30 unanimously passed Kentucky's third local right-to-work ordinance.
Bluegrass Institute president Jim Waters and outgoing Fulton Co. Judge-Executive David Gallagher (right) encouraged magistrates to ignore threats by union lawyers and bosses as well as the political squabbles of anti-right-to-work politicians in Frankfort and the false claims of Big Labor union bosses and their attorneys and move forward with what’s best for their communities – especially since the county sits on the border of Tennessee and Missouri and must compete with those states for capital investment and jobs.
