Isn't the 'Kentucky film incentive' one tax loophole that should be closed?
Why, exactly, do we need a taxpayer-funded "Kentucky Film Commission" that will consider the "status of Kentucky film incentive" at a meeting on Monday?
While recently lamenting Kentucky's dire budget situation and the need for tax reform that allows tax revenue to "grow" with the economy, don't you wonder why we have policies that allow an industry more than capable of paying its "fair share" (a favorite term of supporters of increasing taxes under the guise of "tax reform") to escape such payments?
At the very least, shouldn't this be one of the loopholes that is closed?
