GREAT NEWS for School Choice in Kentucky!

The KY Senate attached an amendment for a Pilot Program for Charter Schools, to House Bill 37 (Schools and Districts of Innovation). The bill will be voted on in the Senate Wednesday March 28. We hear it has enough support to pass the full Senate and then will go to a Conference Committee on Thursday March 29th.Pastor Jerry Stephenson is planning a School Choice Rally at the capitol in Frankfort on Thursday, March 29th at 11am in the Rotunda.

Bluegrass Institute president Jim Waters will speak specifically about how charter schools can help Kentucky's neediest students.
