(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Bluegrass Institute’s 1792-Never out of date radio membership drive is underway.

“This campaign will allow individual Kentuckians concerned about the direction of our commonwealth and country to support the Bluegrass Institute and its mission of free markets, individual liberty and transparent government,” said Jim Waters, acting president of the Bluegrass Institute, Kentucky’s free market think tank.

The institute has teamed up with Louisville’s 84WHAS and talk-show host Mandy Connell to make it possible for all liberty loving Kentuckians to support the important work the institute does in promoting sound policies to the Bluegrass State’s greatest challenges.

“The Bluegrass Institute is moving the needle away from government dependency and toward freedom and opportunity,” Connell said. “All Kentuckians benefit from their work and I urge all citizens to support this worthy cause.”

Supporters an make one-time or recurring donations for $17.92 a month at www.kentucky1792.com. Those who make recurring donations will receive a pocket-size copy of the Kentucky and U.S. Constitutions and an invitation to an end-of-campaign even in the fall.

“Literally hundreds of Kentuckians have said to me, ‘We believe in what the institute is doing and want to participate in returning our commonwealth to its founding principles, but we cannot write a big check,” Waters said. “This campaign allows all liberty loving Kentuckians to do their part to advance freedom, defend liberty and help build more prosperous lives.”1792-Never out of date was chosen as the campaign’s name because it symbolizes the honesty, innovation, independence and rugged individualism that have been part of Kentucky’s DNA since its beginning in 1792.
