Teacher sick outs now impact Kentucky’s ACT testing

So, it begins, yet again.

This showed up at 8:30 pm on March 11, 2019 on Twitter. Testing was originally scheduled for March 12th.

How might a delay of six weeks impact testing results?

Will other districts also be impacted?

Will this impact the comparability of JCPS scores to the rest of the state?

I don’t know if anyone has research on that but I’ve started to ask.

For sure, all those kids peaked for testing tomorrow now have to go through that psyche up process again.

I wonder if the teachers who just walked out really considered that. I wonder what students and parents are thinking now.
