National attention focusing on Kentucky’s math professor revolt

I wrote about this about three weeks ago, and now The federalist has picked up on the math professors’ revolt in Kentucky over the plan to drop all college remedial courses and put in a fanciful notion idea of “Co-Requisite Courses” as replacements.

Imagine that, we will solve the college remedial course problem by dropping those courses, not fixing Kentucky’s Common Core compliant K to 12 system where the problems are really found.

Who comes up with these ideas?????And, why do they tend to ignore good advice from informed people with more experience and common sense????
