Operation Preparation kicks off in Kentucky schools today — The Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions

It’s a chance for members of the community to get involved with motivating eighth and tenth grade students towards college and careers.

Under Operation Preparation, specially trained adults in participating school districts (see map) discuss the following with students:

• Career aspirations, required education/training and workforce skills

• Whether the student is on target to meet their goals

• Whether the student is taking the courses recommended to prepare them for a successful future
