There’s still time to register! Remembering Friedman was never this much fun!

Each year, the Bluegrass Institute celebrates the life and legacy of the late Nobel laureate Milton Friedman around the anniversary of his birth, which occurred on July 31, 1912.While Friedman won the Nobel Prize for his economic theory, he also was a great champion of school choice – a cause for which he dedicated much of his life and treasure.

This great champion for freedom not only was very effective in making the case for free markets and free people, but he enjoyed his journey.

So, we thought it would only be appropriate this year to celebrate the life and legacy of this happy warrior for freedom by once again having fun while we promote a great cause: school choice in Kentucky.

Join us at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, in the Triple Play Suite at Louisville Slugger Field, 401 E. Main St., for an evening of baseball, food and fun as the Louisville Bats host the Charlotte Knights.

Special guests joining us that night include Lt. Gov. Jenean Hampton, the first black elected to statewide office in the history of the commonwealth, and Robert Enlow, president and CEO of the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice, the school choice legacy foundation of Milton and Rose D. Friedman, the namesakes of this annual Bluegrass Institute event.
