Why not a 'Capital Day,' too?

"Capital without labor means machines with no operators, or financial resources without the manpower to invest in," writes Larry Reed, president of the Foundation for Economic Education and recent keynote speaker at the Bluegrass Institute's 1792-Never out of date campaign kick-off dinner. "Labor without capital looks like Haiti or North Korea: plenty of people working but doing it with sticks instead of bulldozers, or starting a small enterprise with pocket change instead of a bank loan."

Reed's article, "Happy Capital Day?," is good reading for this "Labor Day" evening.
